1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website of The Bartending Service of New England ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Services
The Bartending Service of New England provides professional bartending services for weddings and events throughout Massachusetts. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Professional bartending staff
- Bar setup and breakdown
- Beverage service
- Signature cocktail creation
- Consultation services
3. Booking and Deposits
All bookings require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The deposit amount will be specified in your contract and will be applied to your final balance. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are only secured upon receipt of both the signed contract and deposit.
4. Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation by the client:
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Cancellations made 90 days or more before the event date: No additional fees beyond the deposit
- Cancellations made 60-89 days before the event date: 50% of the total contract amount is due
- Cancellations made 30-59 days before the event date: 75% of the total contract amount is due
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date: 100% of the total contract amount is due
5. Alcohol Service Policy
The Bartending Service of New England adheres to all Massachusetts state laws regarding alcohol service. We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated
- Verify the age of any guest who appears under 30 years of age
- Discontinue alcohol service if guests become unruly or if unsafe conditions arise
- Enforce a "last call" at least 30 minutes before the end of the contracted service time
6. Liability
The Bartending Service of New England maintains comprehensive liability insurance coverage. However, clients are responsible for ensuring their venue permits alcohol service and may be required to obtain additional event insurance as specified by their venue.
7. Final Guest Count and Payment
Final guest count and payment are due 14 days prior to the event date. Any adjustments to services after this date may incur additional charges. Payments can be made by check, credit card, or electronic transfer as specified in your contract.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, internet service provider failure, natural disasters, pandemic, government restrictions, or acts of God.
9. Modifications to Terms of Service
The Bartending Service of New England reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify clients of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on our website. Changes to the Terms of Service will be effective immediately upon posting.
